The YE Closing can Rock a cracked Jingle Bell. The Finance Christmas tree is often prepared in a mixed emotional climate of general excitement and stress, erected at huge cost and heavy workload, with garlands of lively meetings, surprise boxes of results to explain, and the shiny lights of the last (yes, the final) Y+1 planning adjustments and reorganisation. Not to forget the upcoming Christmas and Year End eves, clouded by the guilty intuition to feel mentally elsewhere. Hopefully someday AI will come, but we are not fully there yet.
